I posted this early in support and was reccommended that I put it over here in the MVP section. Sorry about that.

I have purcheased the Hauppauge WMVP and got everything connected. The only thing it seems it loses it connection and then has to reconnect. I know that you will want to see log files from GBPVR. If someone can direct me to what dir they are stored in I would be glad to zip them up and post them. Just let me know. Or if there is a patch for this issue. Thanks in advance for the great assistance.

WMVP model 86017 rev H3
GBPVR 99.5
PVR 150
ATI Wonder Elite

Can you reproduce and repost the logs. I suspect the error was in gbpvr.exe-1.log, but this was the one log file missing from the set you posted.

Unfortunately its one of the problems we see from time to time, that comes under the 'MVP disconnected for some unknown reason' category.
Quote:1/24/2007 12:53:23 PM.062 VERBOSE [11] MVP request processed
1/24/2007 12:53:43 PM.078 VERBOSE [11] MVP data taking too long, connection must have been dropped!

Some user have modified their MVP to attach a serial port, which would then give visibility of the cause as reported on the MVP output. Unfortunately without doing this its very hard to tell why this happened.

cybrob, take a look at this thread
where someone mentions disconnecting MVP's and how he solved it. It might be worth trying.
