Sub - can you help ?
I can find ALL of the freeviw channels using winTV, but GBPVR finds nothing. I have an old set of channel mappings which are allowing me to watch TV, but if I rescan I get nothing.
I have recently added another Nova-T board, and nothing is found on this one either.
Is GBPVR 'less sensitive' to channel scanning than winTV, or is there something wrong ? I have attached the logs (this is a fresh set containing details of a scan for each card I have installed).
I have done a full clear and reinstall of the drivers, and I can watch TV using old mappings so I am thinking that there is a bug in the channel scanning code ? Any thoughts ?

I'm not sure. Its never even able to start scanning. For some reason its encountering and error trying to start the BDA graph. I've only ever seen this error in your logs.

Thanks for sorting that out.
The great man connected via VNC and installed the GPL MPEG-1/2 DirectShow Decoder Filter.
Seems to have done the trick and fixed the problem.

Cheers Sub.

No worries. It was a bit of an odd one. I tried the same think in GraphEdit via VNC, and I could see it was something related to the ATI MPEG decoder that causing it. Removing this filter from the graph seem to correct the issue, so installing a different MPEG2 decoder on your machine enabled the graph to start, which allowed the scanning to do its thing.

is that the same thing as the ATI mux ?
I set it up he systen ages ago using the cyberlink one, but have since moved to the ATI mux. I may not have rescanned the channels since then (until now)..

I dont think so. It just seemed specifically related be the ATI MPEG Video Decoder.
