4-5 days ago, I installed the XDVD plug-in, and a couple of days before that Daemon Tools. Since the XDVD plugin, none of my recordings actually happen (they do not show up as failed either).

I have rebooted the machine, restarted the recording service, and it happens with each scheduled recording - even the ones scheduled as Quick Record.
I have Windows XP with P4 3 GHz, 1GB RAM, plenty of hard drive space, PVR-150 (which has worked flawlessly all this time), all decoders set to system default, and GBPVR version 0.99.5

I can watch Live TV in GBPVR just fine.

This is the only error that I found at the time of the recording - (logs attached as well)

Please let me know what you think...

I'm not really sure what to suggest. It looks like something has gone wrong with one of the directshow filters on your machine (hard to tell which one), and when GB-PVR is checking for the filters it needs it comes across this filter, which doesnt like being 'talked to' and proceeds to have a brown trousers error.

I think you are right, sub.
I did not realize that I had also uninstalled ULead DVD authoring software around the same time. I installed the K-lite mega codec pack today and it pointed out several DirectShow filters that had invalid registry entries. The installation completed successfully.
I ran the Re-register filters batch file for good measure. Now to wait and see if scheduled recordings happen...
Will keep you posted.

That was indeed the problem.
Recordings are now happening just fine.
Problem solved.
