With the current version, does Auto Convert (setup as: convert DVR-MS to MPEG2, ASAP) work with manual recordings and/or if you cancel a recording before show end?

When I check the log, it appears not to attempt conversion at all though it is initializing for ASAP conversion.

It should do. Zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

To convert from dvr-ms to anything else you need to have the cyberlink mux installed.

I currently have the Cyberlink Mux for Powerencoder, though I have a newer one as well. Only one is registered and I checked this with your Mux Checker Utility.

Auto Convert does work when you simply record a show from the guide and let the recording complete to show end.

If you cancel the recording before show end (or do a manual recording), no auto conversion is attempted (in the log).

I want to try a couple things, then I will redo and zip/upload the log.

Here is the recording log - I started a recording on a show and cancelled/stopped the recording within a couple of minutes. Does show in Recordings in GBPVR, but no conversion.

It'll only do conversions on recordings that run to completion. If you cancel the recording, it wont be converted.

Hopefully in a future version (for cancelled and manual recordings)... :o

Another question: :p

Am I correct to assume that the Recording Quality Setting does nothing with a digital tuner like the HDHomeRun and using DVR-MS or TS Mux under the BDA Multiplexer setting (it really is just transferring the stream(s) to the Hard Drive)???

Actually, this behaviour was intentional. It'll already do manual recordings, just like any other recording, but it chooses not to do any post processing on a cancelled recording.

That's what I thought. I think it did work on manual recordings that are recorded to the Show End (I'll recheck that though).

I will add this request for an option in the Feature Request section...

Thanks for the quick response...
