Hi to all!

Sorting through the forum for help on this but it was all a little beyond me. I have the above card installed and working on my Windows Media Center PC.

I'm in the configuration section and I go to add a recording source and I notice that Dvico has no devices listed there but on the GB-PVR mainsite it says that it is supported. What do I do?

Thanks

Stephen

When you create your capture source, you need to change from 'direct recording plugin' to 'BDA recording plugin'.\, then you should see a few dvico devices listed.

I have a similar card (DVICO FusionHDTV5 R/T Gold). I am using Satellite (DirecTV) so I will not be using BDA recording. Rather I want to know how to add Direct Recording Plugin for recording/watchin TV with S-Video.

I went here to try to add a capture card
http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Hardw...aptureCard

But it doesn't explain how to add the Direct.INI in detail. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Sorry but the analog side of this device wont work with GB-PVR since it lacks the required hardware MPEG2 encoder.

that explains it. Been trying to modify that direct.ini file for awhile. Oh well I guess I'll stick with the DVICO software. Thanks
