Sure. You could write a Dynamic Source app to do that fairly easily. Maybe take a look at the Google video and YouTube DynSource apps (not to be confused with the YouTube plugin sub introduced for v99.5). I wrote those basically to show how you could use the DynSource architecture for that kind of site. They aren't very sophisticated but they get the job done.

Basically, I've provided a generic form for capturing URL's and storing them as UbuStream "stations". (You could also write your own, more fully featured form). So, when I'm browsing the Google or YouTube site, I open up that form and, every time I see a video that I 'm interested in I copy the URL (the one in the little box next to the video window) and paste it into the URL field in the form. As I add URLs, the DynSource code uses the URL to scrape the page on the site and extract things like Title, Description and the underlying video stream URL which it then stores in the UbuStream database so you can play them back later from GB-PVR.

So the same approach should work for other video clip aggregation sites. Peekvid, like YouTube, uses embedded flash video which complicates things slightly. I wrote a quick and dirty Flash player for UbuStream to play the YouTube vids so a variation of that would probably work. I can't remember if I uploaded the source for that to the wiki, but, if not, it's available.

So - a little bit of work but certainly do-able.
