Native support for hauppauge HVR1300

Are you considering including the above card in your 'Supported Hardware' section? I purchased this card primarily for its hardware encoding capabilities, especially for digital DVB recording.

Incidentally, I have told GB-PVR that the installed TV card is an HVR-3000 (Everything appears to work). Does this mean that hardware encoding is used for recording please?

The hauppauge HVR1300 should be fully compatible with GB-PVR. There are quite a few GB-PVR users already using it.

When you create you capture source, tick the 'only show devices detected in this machine' checkbox, then it should show you a device you can select.

Does this mean that hardware encoding is used for recording please?

Yes it is already used when you're used when doing an analog recording. There is no need for an encoder when doing a digital recording.
