Hoping someone has a solution - I have recently upgraded to v99.5 and just tonight to 99.12 but my live tv playback has become flaky in these new versions. In the past I had been using v95.x and never had a problem.

When I start live tv now (or press "watch" in tv guide) the screen starts up black. If I move the mouse over the window, the playback will start after showing the OSD for a couple of seconds. Playback is fairly smooth after that unless I click on the window or start doing something else on the machine. The hauppage WinTV app works perfectly so I'm pretty sure that the problem exists in gbpvr. Recording and other functions seem to work fine in gbpvr as well. I'm using basic settings like pass-through, no ffdshow, overlay, etc (no other settings work).

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Can you try a decoder other than the Intervideo one?

Hi Sub

Intervideo non-css is the only one on my system at present. Is there another I could download and try that you recommend?

Hi Sub

I tried the MPV decoder as you suggested but I could not get any signal at all with live TV. I am going to try a complete re-install of all drivers and see if this fixes anything. If it doesn't work, is there a way I can get a backup copy of my v95.x (Dec 8, 2005 build) of GBPVR going again?

Thanks for your attention to my situation. I hope this is useful to others with similar issues.
