Hello everyone!
I know that from the title of threat it may seem that this is the same question answered in the other hundred forum threads, but please read! It's different.
What I'd like to know is if, in a particular condition, GB-PVR auto wake function would work correctly.

In other words...
if I've gbpvr tray icon loaded AND I manually hibernate my pc via the start menu, will gb-pvr still be able to wake it up when I've scheduled recordings? the problem is I also use my pc for other things and I fear of "forgetting" gbpvr and turn off my pc from the start menu, thus losing the auto-wake ability.

Thanks? Smile

It should work. GBPVR only sets a timer for windows to wake up at a certain time (about a minute before each recording is to start). GBPVR doesn't know if or how the computer is hibernated.
I'm not always right

Wow! What a quick reply. thanks :-)
Is there a way to know if gbpvr has been able to set the timer correctly?

I don't know if there is a way of querying windows of wake up timers... To ease your mind, try to set a couple of test recordings and then hibernate your computer manually and see Wink

I manually hibernate my pc all the time and gbpvr wakes up to do a scheduled recording. The only issue I have had is my usb keyboard wouldn't allow the pc to stay asleep but I fixed this in the bios.
