Hi All,

I searched for a while, and found no clear answer.

I am in the process of changing out computers. Can I just transfer the database, and recordings to the new machine?

Will it retain the program information?

Thanks for all replies

yes you can but you will have to install gbpvr, .NET 2, decoders etc first. Make sure the recordings are in the same location or gbpvr will not find them and delete them from the database.

I did it like this:

1) Installed gbpvr on the new computer
2) Copied all the recordings from the old to the new computer to a drive/dir that's called the same as on the old computer
3) Exported the recordings from the config app on the old computer
4) Imported the recordings on the new computer with the file the old computer produced
