Hi.

My problem is apparently quite similar to BigLarry's Freecom issue

I just installed the Terratec card. It's recognised when configuring it as a capture source, but alas - when trying to scan for channels, it crashes the recording service.

Logs zipped and attached, but the apparent key issue is highlighted below:

Quote:2007-03-23 23:51:35.890 VERBOSE SubmitTuningRequest() complete
2007-03-23 23:51:35.890 VERBOSE ServiceID: -1, PMT PID: -1, VPID: -1, APID: -1

2007-03-23 23:51:35.890 VERBOSE Preferred BDA Multiplexer: InterVideo
2007-03-23 23:51:35.937 VERBOSE FindFilterByName failed to locate filter: Cinergy 2400i DT Tuner 1
2007-03-23 23:51:35.953 ERROR Failed to find BDA tuner filter: C
2007-03-23 23:51:35.953 VERBOSE BDARecorder::StopRecording()
2007-03-23 23:51:35.968 VERBOSE BDARecorder::StopRecording() finished
2007-03-23 23:52:25.937 VERBOSE BDARecorder::StopRecording()

I've currently only Intervideo mux installed. In the process of downloading Cyberlink PowerDirector trial to get the cyberlink mux on the system.

Any suggestions how to proceed?

TIA,

Niels

I think its just your device numbers wrong. (BTW, good thinking ahead with the filtercheck log - if only more would do that)

The PVR350 should be device #1. The "TerraTec Cinergy 2400i DT #1 DVB-T" should be device #1. The "TerraTec Cinergy 2400i DT #2 DVB-T" should also be device #1.

Confusing I know...

Seems like that was it - now it's scanning and has already found several channels Big Grin

Not shure I got the reason for the device numbering thing though... Is it the physical device number of each type of device?

Thanks - I usually do a lot of searg and research before posting a specific technical question (to avoid wasting your/others time on things solved earlier).

Maybe making adding to the support sticky with what to provide in specific problem areas, like

BDA device support request - please include
 • Logs - all logs from ./logs directory zipped.
 • Filtercheck log zipped.
 • BDA MUX checker output
... maybe even more that I don't think of...

Thank you for quickly pointing me in the right direction with the device numbers

The device numbers only increase if you've got multiple devices using the same name. In this case all your devices have different names, so they're all device #1.
