Hi,
I'm getting the "Error:Failure playing back file" when using Live TV for some channels. It works a treat for other channels.

I'm watching free-to-air digital channels in Perth Australia. ABC, ABC2 and Seven are fine, but Nine and SBS have this error.

This is a recent problem for me. I was recieveing all channels using the last release of GBPVR.

I've rescanned the channels a few times. All channels seem to register without a problem - but I've noticed that the preview doesn't show for Nine and SBS.

Capture Card: Pinnacle, PCTV, Dual DVB-T Pro PCI
Video Card: GEFORCE 7300GS, Nvidia
CyberLink MPEG Muxer

I worked it out.

The Frequencies in the Australian BDA/Dvb-t/0141.ini files were a bit off - hence the intermmitted reception.

Attached is a 0153.ini file with the real frequencies for Perth, Western Australia. Put this in the BDA/Dvb-t/ directory and then re-configure your tuner card.

The ones I had problems with were
2=C8,191625,0,0,7
and
5=C29,536625,0,0,7

For other Australians out there, check out this link for your local frequencies

Cheers - I'll add this to the master set. That said, most devices are supposed to be able determine the exact frequency to lock onto within the range +/-166kHz, so yours should have got these same frequencies from those listed 0141.ini. Your Pinnacle device must have some limitation in this aspect of operation.
