PDA control

this is not something I expect to be first priority, but it was a thought I had.

would it be possible to control GBPVR with a PDA??
maybe be able to scroll through available recordings??
hit "play" on the PDA and the show starts on the machine??
or maybe even weed out the unwanted shows on the PENDING list.
can connect through IR or bluetooth.

not something I expect to see anytime soon, but maybe someone here knows how to do plugins, and also has knowledge in making Palm apps??

Its unlikely I'll add this myself, but I think some users in the past have talked about developing their own plugins for this.

I've tried to use the web admin facility, but the screen is just too small for that.

I've thought about it, but have never actually gotten around to do it, but some REST or XML RPC services would be ideal for these situations. Would allow access to the data in a standard way, regardless of the database back end.

Would probably make implementing on a PDA a bit easier as well.

Is it possible to use a pda phone to dial into Gb-pvr and watch the shows? I have a PPC-6700 from sprint. Granted, it has it's own glitches, but that would be a cool added feature considering I have free internet.
