Image Verification for Search is difficult

I'm red/green color blind so those image verification things play hell with me... I have probably registered with hundreds of websites even tho I may never go back to get around them.

It's too bad some assholes with nothing better to do than mess with other folks stuff make it harder for everyone to get information on the web.

I had never really thought of that and people having trouble with the mages (they can be very hard to tell letters apart) - I notice now that some sites now offer a soundbyte download which you can then listen to and enter the verification that way.

Having used other vbulletin forums I find GBPVRs to be the most challenging. This suggests GBPVR has selected some option that is providing what they beleive is more secure. It is our opinion that they turn down the "security level" for the sake of useability.

I'm sure most are aware of why the image is needed but seems like no one here understands what level of distortion is really required. A simple clasp will keep the fox out of the henhouse.

sub is also using a more recent version of vBulliten than other sites, forums dont tend to update software that often

Sub, that is much easier to read.

I'm almost always logged in here, so it doesn't matter much for me, but I know how frustrating they can be. I hope it helps the guest visitors perform searches easier without allowing the riffraff easier access to spam the forums.
