IR remote not working boot into GBPVR

Has anyone have an explanation why the IR remote doesnt function when boot into GBPVR directly and hiding windows (followed the instructions in bootingbpvr at Wiki)? I have see my pc boot into GBPVR and hiding windows after changing the registry setting with the instructions from WIKI, however the IR remote refuse to work. I will have to alt ctrl del to bring up the task manager to type in explorer.exe then everything back to normal again. Thanks.

So you changed your Shell to gbpvr.exe instead of explorer?

I would guess that your remote software has to running in order for your remote to work, and it starts either from your startup menu, or one of the hklm\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Run keys that I guess do not get processed when you do not run explorer.exe.

I'm not sure what the clean solution would be, at worst you could ctrl-alt-del and then run your recording software with new->task.

I have also tried to run batch file in the shell. The batch contains executing GBPVR.exe and ir.exe, the remote still failed to work. :confused:
