what's difference between shspvr/hauppage/hauppage beta software?

What's difference between the software on http://www.shspvr.com/smf/index.php?topic=10582.0

and the most updated software on http://www.hauppauge.com/pages/support/s...iamvp.html

and the beta version? anyone use those software?

no matter what i do, i can't run gbpvr on mvp w/o first running the hauppage service and then stopping it (using crossover cable).

The Hauppauge software has a DHCP server for the MVP's, GBPVR doesn't.
GBPVR relies on a router to give an IP address to the MVP (or some extra software like tftpd32.exe
