I have my HD channels setup and working with my HVR-1600. I don't at this point want to map the HD channels to the existing analog stations simply because a) at times the channels have different content and b) some of the channels like pbs broadcast multiple dig channels. Anyway, I am trying to figure out how to get Zap2It to map to the HD channels so I get a program guide for those channels. I mapped the HD channels to 100+ on my tuner so that the HD channels are out of the way and don't interfere with the analog channels. I named the channels like "4.1 WMTJDT" like they are in the Zap2It guide. However I still don't get the guide for those channels. What am I missing here?

Are you using Comcast? Comcast has HD channel from 101 to 115 for local broadcast HD. You probably need to visit labs.zap2it.com and tick mark channel 101 to 115 so you can down load the tv guide data.

No I am using Time Warner...in any case that isn't the issue as I should have stated I am using OTA HD. So my HD channels are 4.1, 4.2 for HD and 4 for the analog station. I am placing the HD channels at 100+ and then mapping them to the HD stations, 4.1, 4.2 etc.

What I did is set up a separate account at zap2it, just for OTA channels, and use that in the config for the OTA side of the PVR-1600.

Same here - It's a lot easier that way. Otherwise you'd have to 'disable' the OTA channels under one capture source and 'disable' the non-OTA channels on the OTA channel source.
