Hi

Generally, WebAdmin is working fine for me, but I am having trouble with the 'video library' function. 'Stream' and 'Download' work fine, but when I try 'Play' I just get offered a very small file (200-300 bytes) rather than the actual file (1 Gb +). Any ideas?

Thanks

I think you have your browser set to automatically download and save the m3u file rather than opening the file with VLC (or WMP).

Not sure that's the problem. It does try to open the file in WMP - it just seems to be the wrong file (a few hundred bytes rather than something much larger). Stream/Download seem to work fine.

when I tried to open the m3u file with WMP it just hung, with VLC it started immediately.

When you use WMP to try to play a file it will wait until the entire file is recieved before playing.......it sometimes will hang and sometimes just die.....that is one of the reason to use VLC as a client.....it will not wait for the full file in Play mode.....it will start playing as soon as it has enough info...usually within a few seconds.
