Make LiveTV not save recordings

Is there a way to turn off saving the recordings when channel surfing under TimeShifter mode? (I have live preview mode turned off)
I have found many miscellaneous recordings in my LiveTV Buffer directory.
This seems to be eating up my hard drive storage very quickly.
How do I stop GBPVR from saving them?

If you're in timeshift mode then it will create files. These will be deleted automatically a few minutes after you finish watching that file though, so wont permanently chew up disk space.

If you dont want any video files to be created, then use live preview mode.

I had never noticed the files before... until today.
I thought I was gonna end up with many GIG's of useless video files.
