The latest version on the wiki should now work without having to edit the skin (clear browser cache before downloading). I was able to reproduce the crash in XRecord, XGuide and XSearch by setting my regional option to French (Canada) instead of English (Canada) since the french use comma for decimal point as well. For those who care about C# code, a NumberFormatInfo with the correct NumberDecimalSeparator is now being used as the second argument to float.Parse.
There have been floats in XGuide's skins forever. I'm surprised this hasn't come up before. Floats in XRecord and XSearch skins are pretty new though. All three plugins were fixed.
