Searching decriptions would take a lot longer. Not impossible though. [Image: smile.gif]

yea, that'd be understandable and well worth the wait [Image: smile.gif] Especially if it will store the search, run after each guide update and auto-record [Image: smile.gif]

We would have to spin off a thread and wait till the update occurs. Unless there was a batch file that ran after the update. I heard that someone thought there was. If there was it would be fairly easy to do.

The batch file would run a exe that would load the list of tags to record. Then we would search the database for the tags.

The plugin would just manage the list.

Maybe Sub can add an onUpdateGuide event , so plugins can register with it and have code called after the update.

In the next release PostUpdateEPG.bat will be executed after the EPG update occurs.

Very nice!

Just one remark: please think about the touchscreen users! That means: no right mouseclick, no scroll-wheel. All commands via buttons on the screen.

Please...

But I like the idea a lot!

Sub that batch file is great thank you.  I guess we can do a description recording.

Well all of the buttons except in the recording configuration (i havent finished that) support the mouse click and double mouse click, so that should work for touch screen.

If the only limits are right clicks and scrolling, it should be fine, once I add the listeners for the configuration.
