Hi all,

I installed gbpvr and all was going great. I'm using a Hauppage 350 card and had no troubles installing and configuring it all.

But you are thinking why is he posting then Wink

Here it is. After installing everything xmltv + gbpvr + putting in right channels freq etc. etc. After this i started gbpvr and looked at the live tv. But what did my eye see. my channel one (Nederland 1 i'm Dutch) is on 2 channels

when skipping further in the channels i found out that all other channels skipped on place up and the last channel just fell off the wagon.

Just to be sure i removed all keys with the freq from registry and did the freq2reg.exe again. Counted the channels in there and looked at the xmltv ini file to see if they match and they did...(and glad i wasn't crazy... :o )

So i imported the again and run the xmltv guide again and updated epg after removing everything. And still the first channel was also skipped to the second channel and at the end at channel 35 the last channel was gone again.

Can somebody help me with this because i'm getting

Thanks for the help sofar

I think most Netherlands viewers dont use this approach. Instead they enter the frequencies inplace of the channel numbers in the capture source channel list. ie 95000000. GB-PVR see a big number and treats it as a frequency.

Have you checked the channel numbers are corrected in the main channel list tab of the config app? Usually XMLTV files dont include channel numbers, so GB-PVR just makes some up, which depending on the order in the XMLTV file, may not be exactly as your expecting.

Sorry i think i wasn't clear above... Here my steps :

1. I open up an presets.txt and placed my freq in there. "See attached file presets.txt" and run the freq2reg.exe this created a reg file i could import into my registry.
2. After that i edit the registry to remove all old registry keys under
Code:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\TV System Services\TVAutoTune\TS0-1
3. I imported the new registry file "See attached file mijnzenders.reg"
4. I cleared all channels and epg from gbpvr.
5. I run xmltv that created tvguide.xml with as input tv_grab_nl.conf
6. i did a epg update in gbpvr and all looks good.

BUT here it comes when i start at channel 4 and go up the last channel goes to channel 1 and channel 1 to 2 etc. etc.

When i start on channel 1 from epg i get channel 1, and when i switch up to channel 2 i get channel 1 on channel 2 also AND then i lose last channel when i switch completely up the channel ladder.

Hope this makes sense now.

Thanks for help again..Wink

It's not clear to me what went wrong but Sub is right: it's probably easier to enter the frequencies in the capt-source-channels tab.
You can get the frequencies at the website of your tv-provider.
Be sure you get the number of zero's right, I messed up there a few weeks ago:o. This is how it looks like then:

Good luck, and welcome to the club.

Edit; I forgot, you can change the channelorder in gbpvr-config-misc-channels.
