I'm new to this great software, and have gotten the gbpvr up and
running on my new htpc. I have looked in the forum and can not
find out if there is a file created when you are in time shift. I would
like to know if there is a file made and how you save it for burning to
a dvd. I had been using the crappy ATI software with my old AIW 9800Pro
and it would save the time shifting file so it could be edited and burned to
a dvd. I found this very helpfull when I realized that there was something
I was watching that I just knew later I would want a copy of it.
Thanks for your time and help.

Yes, there is. If you press the record button (Ctrl-K), then it'll record the current show (including the bits already bufferd). It'll show up in the recording screen as a recording. The file will be in the live tv buffer directory specified in the config app.
