2 recordings into one ?

I've built my father a new gbpvr system. It records through a pvr 500.
I've set up the system proparly 2 tuners installed and all.
Now whenever i start a recording, and start a second one, in the first recording the channel gets switched to the second one.
In the logs i've attached i first started to record mythbusters, a few seconds later WATTS prime on another channel. Both recordings were shown in the pending screen, but only the mythbuster one is shown after completion in the ready screen (wich is actually now WATTS since it changed channels). The WATTS directory was created, but nothing is in it.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Did you set the device numbers correctly? One capture source should be set to device #1, the other device#2.

Argh how could i've missed that ?
One was set to hauppauge 500, and one to hauppauge 500 with fm tuner.
But both had device 1 as capture source.
