Question about recordings

Good evening,
Thanks for the help in advance. I am having an issue with shows that record. It records and then when I hit play its just a black screen, there is audio however. But here is the odd thing, I have a wireless MVP that when I play the recordings it works just fine. Not sure what to check to see why I just have a black screen with audio on the gbpvr machine. Any assistance would be great thanks.

I'm guessing you dont have a video decoder installed on your machine.
