Using "System Default" Video Decoder. And also can choose "cyberlink decoder" which is just because I have a trial version of that software installed.

You 'system default' decoder probably is the Cyberlink decoder. Its probably worth trying another decoder like: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/MPV_Decoder.htm

Thanks so much for your patience with a novice. I downloaded the free codec and it seems to work fine now. Appreciate all the help!
