The reason. We just got a new puppy, and we'd like to peek in once in while.
I've got the MCE500 in my GBPVR box.
Is there a way I can use this to run a webcam, and not trod all over GBPVR? I haven't even bought a camera yet, so I'm not beyond taking suggestions for really good (CHEAP) camera's.
The other thing is I think a wireless camera is the way to go, since the computer is about 40 feet from the kitchen.
I *think* the MCE500 can be access by normal Video for windows apps, so geting the webcamera to pick it up shoulnd't be hard. I'm expecting the difficulty being getting to play nicely with GBPVR.
I use the COAX input on the Cable, so I have two cable tunes... I do own the RCA cable bulkhead, but I've never plugged it into the 500 board.
