Music Library 2 - Version 6.4

I got a big scare last night!!!:eek::eek:

As I mentioned here, I had issues with the SS of this plugin.
So, last night, I went in the config-app to the settings of the ML2, and un-checked the "Use Screen Saver.." thing.

We watched something, and then stopped, and then we went upstairs with the kids. I had left everything on, as I was sure the built-in SS of GB will kick in.

I came downstairs later (4 hours later?) to see there is NO SCREEN SAVER at all!!

So, I started to move in the menu, and there it was - for the first time - Image Retention (burn-in) on my 50" Pioneer Plasma!!!
Is this experience going to cost me few K$?

Boy - this was a very scary moment.

I switched Plasma off. Waited for a while. Switched it on. I used mspaint to switch few moments of total black and total white few times.

It's all gone. The burn-in I mean. All back to normal.

Uh, yes, the default screen saver name has changed and I've been setting it to "Simple Screen Saver" when now it it "Default screen saver" I think I fixed that in 6.4 but you would want to make sure.

I may get rid of the option to change in in the ML2 config, and make people change it by hand...

Yes, I think the whole mechanism is a bit skew.
What should have been (my 2 cents) is that plugins that have SS will export some interface or something like that, and then, GB will know which SS are available ("None", "Default", "ML2", etc) and show a combo in the config app to choose a SS. Then, if GB will manage this, we won't have those issues. Also as it is now, different plugins can step on each other tows when you choose the SS in them.

I've just updated the wiki page but wont put out a proper release untill I fix this screen saver issue, i.e I'll stop overwriting the screen same configuration entry in the config.xml.
