I have a Motorola DCT-2100 cable box from Comcast and a Hauppauge PVR150 card. For those that have similar setups, which type of cable yields better video quality in recordings: coaxial cable or RCA's?

Thanks

The generally accepted order of quality for signal coming from a set top box is, svideo best, then composite, then coax.

you got it set up properly? as I remember it was a chore to get my blaster to be received by the set top box.

if you are interested in using the serial port to change channels I can help, thats what I used to do on my 2244. I liked the reliability, and the fact that it got rid of the IR blaster sitting on the front of my cable box.
