I've been having occasional problems with recordings. Not all of the recordings I get are this way, but it is getting more and more common. The bad recordings have a static like look to them and no sound. This happened last night with 2 different programs. One was on 8/17 at 21:00 and the other on 8/17 at 22:00, on the same channel. This happened with both 0.99.12 and 1.0.16. I've attached the logs from 8/17.

If its static like an untuned channel, then I'm guessing either you've got the channel number set incorrectly for that channel in your capture source channel list, or something going wrong in the drivers. If its only happening sometimes for you, you may find its only one of your tuners with this problem, on maybe only a small number of channels.

The static isn't really like an untuned channel. I never see the problem when watching Live TV, only with the recordings.

Do you recommend re-installing the PVR150 drivers? Or should I try only having one of the 2 tuners active in GBPVR, then set a recording to see if it screws up. Then vice versa with the other tuner. Or both? Smile

Last night I setup GBPVR to only have the one tuner installed. Then I setup a recording. After the recording, I did the same thing with the other tuner. Both recordings were fine.

I don't know what is causing it, but I've upgraded the PVR150 drivers. We'll see if the problem goes away.

You have to number the cards in config-capt.sources, 1 and 2. This is because they are using the same drivers.
AMD Athlon 64 3000, HDD: 80, 120, 200 GB, Hauppauge 350 + 150, MVP, Asus 6000L Laptop client, Asus X50sl client,
Fritz!box 7140 modem/router, GBPVR 1.3.7.

They were marked as #1 and #2 at the time.
