found a registry setting that enables a 'denoise' setting in avivo section of catalyst control panel..
the controls seem uncomplete, but there is an 'enable' check box..
so i unchecked it...
and it does seem to have disabled completely the ghosting...
[on mine it wasn't very bad actually]
i changed the access from noone to Everyone..
save as something.reg and double click it..
then crank up catalyst and look in avivo settings...
only seems to work on X1xxx cards, so i do think it is the real avivo codec settings...
