Was wondering whether anyone else have suffered from this. What I was trying to do last night was schedule shows one after another for recording, but for what ever reason it was not recording the show in between.

For example: Show 1 schedule at 1pm - 2pm, Show 2 schedule at 2pm - 2:30pm, Show 3 schedule at 2:30pm - 3pm. I have put padding to 0. In the pending recordings, it only shows Show 1 pending and Show 3 pending. Show 2 doesn't even appear.

I thought that it used to work before, but can't figure out why it would be doing this now. The only thing that I have changed so far is to use XMLTV as my EPG source. I was using the MSN_XMLTV_Scraper program from Drlava, which worked pretty good, but it was missing some channels for me, so I decided to test out the ZAP2XML program. EPG data looks fine and everything, so can't figure out why recordings won't happen when scheduled sequentially.

The only other difference I can tell from the XML data is that MSN_XMLTV had the timezone set to +0000 and ZAP2XML had the timezone set to -0400. Apart from that everything else looked the same.

I'll grab the logs and post it, but not sure whether it will help solve this.

Ok. Did some more testing and figured out why scheduling was not working properly. It definitely has something to do with the XMLTV that I uploaded into the EPG. When I used the ZAP2XML program, I ran into scheduling problems. When I changed back to the MSN_XMLTV_Scraper program, everything scheduled properly.

Another funny thing I noticed in the way recordings are scheduled is that when you schedule something for a season, if the name that you recorded on is slightly different from the names of the show for all the other episodes in the EPG, GBPVR ignores those ones when scheduling. Noticed this when I was trying to record Big Brother 8 using the ZAP2XML program which I think scheduled for the show + episode name rather than just the show. Since the data in the MSN_XMLTV_Scraper program contains less data, I was able to schedule everything for the season since it only contained the show name. Not sure if this is something intentionally done.

Oh well, ZAP2XML looked good and had lots of data, but messed up my scheduling so back to basics for me for now.

GB-PVR uses the Title to schedule a season recording.
