Minimum hardware requirement

Hello,

I can not find any minimum hardware requirement.
Up to know, I would like to use PIII 500 with 512 MB Ram, Riva TNT2 32MB and Hauppauge PVR350.

When I try to watch LiveTV, it "lags".

More CPU needed?

When you say "lags", what you mean?

The only things that'll probably be a bit slow with that machine is the GB-PVR menus (#### microsoft GDI+ libraries). Other than that it should be fine. Encoding is done in hardware. Decoding is done in hardware.

TV watched through this sort of setup will always be two or three seconds behind if you were comparing it to watching regular tv. Add a second for the video to go through the PVR350's encoder. Add a couple of seconds of buffer to the data sent to the PVR350's decoder.

... but you should still have smooth video.

Hello Sub,

I first tried to use software decoder to viex live tv on my desktop, but my computer is quite too slow
Now, I use TV-Out and watch it on my TV, it works fine but a sound problem.
I made another post to be as acurate as possible.
