I'm still using comskip version 79.71 and up until recently it's been working near flawlessly. Obviously well done software that just works and you almost forget it's there.
I was playing around with higher bit rates lately and have noticed a lot of comskip errors on these recordings. I went to 9000 CBR and these recordings are of auto and motorcycle racing.
The errors are all over the place. Sometimes a good chunk of the show goes missing, but most of the time several commercials are left in and not with any kind of consistency.
I plan on updating to the latest comskip version, but is there a maximum bit rate to use to keep comskip happy?
Cheers
