I've just noticed that I seemed to be running out of HDD space a lot faster than I used to and have discovered that for all my recordings I seem to have multiple copies of the recording along with the various logo file and others generated by comskip. I don't have any transcoding enabled and this is happening to all recordings.

This issue only appears to have appeared recently after I upgraded comskip and used a different config file for NZ TV. If I disable comskip in post processing however this issue still seems to occur and comskip still seems to be running.

Any ideas? Does anybody have a comskip.ini file for NZ that does a good job of detecting ad breaks?

Cheers

Are they really copies, or are they different parts of the same show?

If you don't want comskip to run,make sure it isn't in your parallelprocessing.bat, postprocessing.bat or enabled in the config app. I don't think comskip ever makes a copy of the file, it just creates an output cuttime file.

Make sure
output_demux=0
is in your ini file
Otherwise you can get the demuxed video and audio files

Thanks a million - this was the cause of the issue. It never used to happen until I upgraded comskip, lost my old .ini file and then searched for a new one suitable for NZ TV.
