Heres the situation (ive installed this from new twice with the same results), each time it was uninstall, restart then delete the folder then restart then install a new one, both times had this problem below...
The only fix is to uninstall then re-install again... wish i never upgraded from 0.98 now
Windows 2000 SP4
.NET2
Java v6
Install v1.0.16, completed and setup, tested working. Open Webadmin (this is all standard install no plug ins).
Changed theme to BLUE, changed to Text and Channel Icons, saved. Once this is done, Web Admin never works again, cant log into it from out side the PC, if ON the PC with GBPVR i can log in HOWEVER none of the settings have been altered.
The only way after this to get GBPVR to work is to open the config and disable the WebAdmin part, then it works with MVP (and the icons show in the MVP). so changing the Channel icons to be displayed in Web Admin results in GBPVR Web Admin total failure FOR GOOD on that install, ive never manaaged to fix it yet....
I'm playing with the idea to back down to below v1 until these sort of bugs are ironed out then to create a copy of the working server and test all updates, this is thats abit over the top as this sort of thing should never happen...
First where are the WebAdmin settings saved?
Does .NET cache anything?
The web server IS working however isnt serving any pages, it just waiting (the port is still open).
