Streaming without Transcoding

Is there a way to NOT transcode a stream so that it remains in full quality?

Just push the play-button instead of the stream-button. I think that way you get the full "stream".
Ofcourse a good network is required then.

There is no Play button to press. thats only in recordings, not if streaming live from the Guide.

Basically I'd like to stream a live recording from my hvr-1600 to another manchine with the VLC Player, I can do it in TS Reader But But I want GBPVR to be able to do it.

You can stream (transcode) but not play from the pop-up details box that you get when you click on the programme in the guide.

If you configure your stream settings to use LAN quaility you should retain your quality.
