For your son's shows, you might want to consider making him a series of DVDs using BurnDVDX2. You can likely get 5-6 episodes per disc and each "menu page" can have a different picture and description and title for the episodes

Hey, this Episode Tweaker is great! I had also downloaded SQLite Administrator, which works fine but is more complicated to use.

JavaWiz Wrote:To update episode description, try the attached tool. It will list all the entries in your Recording table and allow you to modify the episode (or sub_title) field.

You will need to place:
EpisodeTweaker.exe - Gbpvr directory
WizUiHelper - gbpvr/plugins/common directory

I do not have a common directory in the plugins so I created one but the program still does not work.

I get the following error
GetRecordedShowInfo()-EXCEPTION Invalid ConnectionString format for parameter "Password"

Are you using SQLite or MSAccess database?

I used the changedatabase on a fesh install and now it opens the window but I get this message
Unable to locate DLL: WizWebHelper.dll so I renamed the WizUiHelper to WebWizHelper
That works to show the window but I do not think it is accurate because I do not get the "more" option on the opened window.
I made an edit but it does not show anywhere.

Is it possible to run this on the database for the scheduled shows instead of the recorded ones? I would like to add episode numbers to the scheduled programs.

Do not rename WizUiHelper.DLL to WizWebHelper.DLL, they are two totally different modules with seperate functions.

Try this:
  • Download EpisodeTweaker and place the executable in the gbpvr directory
  • Download the WizDLLs and place in the gbpvr/plugins/common directory
  • Insure Wiz DLLs ONLY exist in the gbpvr/plugins/common directory (ie check to make sure none exist in gbpvr)
Try running now, it should work.

Right now it only updates the recorded show, it does not update the table that the EPG uses. Can't tell from your post where you are from, but you might try Zehd's new EPGuide enhancer or maybe I-XMLTV which will update your EPG with more detailed info.

If that does not work, let me know and I'll see about enabling updates to the EPG table.
