DVD Patch

If you applied the DVD patch and then switched back to using VMR9 would that cause any problems? I was installing a new video card last night and wanted to see how well EVR worked. I set everything back to VMR9 around midnight so that the wife would have a working TV today but it freezes on a black screen when she tried to play a DVD for our daughter today.

No, it shouldnt do. Its more likely something to do with installing your new video card has changed something.

Try playing a DVD the zip and attach the logs and I'll see if I can see a specific cause.

I didn't think that would cause any problems and I'm pretty sure that I played a DVD to make sure it still worked before retiring for the night but it was late and the details are fuzzy.

They restarted the PC before I got home from work and it is working fine now. If it does happen again I will post the logs. Thanks sub.
