Upgraded to newest version, created SD account, having problems getting epg. updates noticed a patch listed in sticky GBPVRbackendcommon.dll. I have downloaded it three times now and cant get it into GBPVR folder, I get an error saying target can not accept file type. I tried saving to hard drive and then moving, copying, and even extract from ZIP with same results when I try to move it into GBPVR file. Had no problems loading hibernation patch. I am stumped, any ideas what the problem could be?

To replace a DLL the GBPVR Recording Service needs to be stopped. Also if you are running in Vista and if you need to start Windows exporter the Command Prompt, or any tool you use with the Run as administrator option to be able to write to the "Program Files" folder.

Did you try stopping the recording service before copying the file into c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr?

I found that once I stopped the recording service that I then had to stop the tray icon gbpvrtray.exe before I could copy the patch over. Prior to that I would get a file is in use error. This is on win2k.
