DVB-T Card Recommendation? Confused about Chips, MPEG2/MPEG4 Compliance

I'm confused. Those HVR devices all quote MPEG or MPEG2:confused: encoders. Why would they need one, or are you saying that it takes the MPEG4 signal and encodes it to MPEG2? Would that be taking HD down to SD?

The MPEG2 encoder are referring to the analog features of these cards.

btw the NOVA series are listed (UK Site) as being the Terrestrial DVB-T Ones?

I didnt have a nova-t, otherwise I would have tried that too.

Sorry, I dont know anything about DMB-T.

Darn, I thought that might be the case it being so new and everything...
I might have to wait till those 1.2 billion folks in China ALL get Digital TV's, then we'll see some DMB-T cards appearing
