Music Library playlists are being combined

I have a folder containing 6 m3u playlists, call them in order A,B,C,D,E,F.
In Music Library, if I select any of the playlists, and hit either OK or Play on the remote, it plays all tracks from ALL of the the selected playlist and all subsequent play lists. I.e., if I tried to play A, I get everything pointed to by all the playslists. If I tried to play D, I get all the tracks pointed to by playlists D,E,F.

You most likely have <MusicLibraryAutoQueueFiles>true</MusicLibraryAutoQueueFiles> set in config.xml. This cause causes all files (including and after) the selected song to be auto queued. Its been this way pretty much forever, and will do the same thing to normal .mp3 files (not just .m3u file).

You can set it to false to avoid this.

Yes, that was it. I knew of that parameter from searching the forums. I speculated that might be it but whereas I could see some argument for that behavior for music tracks I couldn't see a rationale for behaving like that for playlists.
I should have just tried it and saved you the interruption. Thanks though.
