Greetings from Denmark

First off, let me say how happy i am i found this wonderful software. I tried 3 others and they all had one or more serious drawback for my use. GB-PVR is almost perfect.

Now to the "almost" part.

On my lcd (sony 40w5500) i have it set to smart view, which basicly means it zooms in a bit to maximize screen use while only loosing a little picture. Otherwise there often is black bars visible around the edge, when playing files.

This creates a problem when i enter the video library because it cuts off the left most letters of the file names.

What i need is a way to change the placement of the file list on the screen, ie. move it a little to the right. Can this be done?

Thank you for a great program, i hope you have a suggestion for my little problem as GB-PVR would then reach prefection for me.

I seem to remember the Community Skin had spent some time tweaking the layout of components to move them a little further away from the edge of the screen (to accommodate users with large amounts of overscan).

I'd also recommend giving the Community skin a try. You can hack about with the xml files yourself to try and move things around. Although I've had mixed results doing this! Smile

The aspect ratio control (F7) works when video is playing. It does not affect the menu. You can edit the aspect ratio values in config.xml. An example of a post discussing this is ...
