Pink screen on Live TV

Occasionally, I get a pink screen when viewing the SVHS input of my PVR-150 card. This has only started happening since I have installed FFDSHOW. Could this be the cause or is it a PVR-150 driver issue? I needed FFDSHOW because I was getting a black screen.

start in window mode then change the settings on ffdshow when it happens
if you play the file fine in vlc player then it can almost rule out the pvr150
there are other decoders that work instead of ffshow personally i found that it did strange things but others have great success with it

Sorry for the tardy response, I have been away on holidays.
I did as suggested and run GB-PVR in window mode and disabled ffdshow, but I still get a pink screen. When I play the recordings in VLC player it is also in pink.
I also get recordings in green as well, it seems to be random.

Any further suggestions?

It sounds like your PVR150 isnt getting a signal. I've some times seen random colours like when you tell it to record from the svideo but dont have anything connected to the svideo input.
