I would love support for my AIW 9800 so I could watch TV using GB-PVR.
Thanks.

The reason I ask is because I've seen people here posting this card as part of their configuration. But I guess they use it as video card only, not TV-card...

I have an AIW (that was my first TV capture card) and Snapstream software. It wasn't until I switched to the Hauppauge cards & GBPVR that I stopped recording everything on a VCR, too. It was no longer a toy.

The AIW card was good for captures for my camcorder until I got a digital camcorder. Now I just disabled the AIW capture part. It will makes a pretty good video card.

I'm with Sub. If he suported it, people wouldn't be happy with the results.

I started out with an AIW. BeyondTV was a dog with it, then I moved to a PVR-150 & GB-PVR. MUCH BETTER. More stable and snappier performance. Much better capture quality too.

Then I dumped the AIW in favor of a Matrox G550 due to playback picture quality.
GB-PVR (usually newest version) (Love it! Direct access to 45-button Hauppauge remote not working)

Is there currently any way to make the software work with the AIW?
