Hi All,
I live in Frankfurt Germany and receive cable thru UnityMedia (ex. Iesy). Currently we have a plain normal analog cable connection.
There are some channels that just don't work with DVB-T (Nick for my kids) where adding an analog tuner needs to happen.
I am looking for suggestions and experiences on
1) Analog tuners for use in Germany -- anything to avoid? I'm partial to TerraTec as I've had very good results with my 2400DT to date.
2) Digital tuners with UnityMedia -- do they work? Do I need a CI & Card? Is it worth the trouble?
3) Given the answer to 1 or 2, any suggestions on USB vs PCI? Most of the members here have PCI from what I can tell, but the USB pricing for 2.0-only devices is quite good.
Many thanks,
Dane
