FOr some reason in Xrecord and Xguide the menu is rather hard to read. The words are rather foggy.

You are not the first person to notice this.

I noticed it last time I installed GBPVR version 1.1.5.

I'm using the old version 99 and the fonts are much better.

I'm not sure why.

If you are using a HD set, Xrecord is genreally skinned at 720x480 and will be upscaled. This is the reason for blurry text. I don't know if the Xrecord suite has been updated enough to be skinned for 1280x720.

Xrecord was skinned using a 480line skin. But so were lots of other GBPVR skins.

Xrecord suddenly looked much worse (fonts much more blocky) than other screens on more recent versions of GBPVR (>1.0). Even though the standard Blue skin was 480line (i think????????).

I didn't get to the bottom of why this was but I can confirm that Xrecord did look truely awful (No HD display needed) on more recent versions of GBPVR.

Fla and I have been working on a new 1280x720 skin. I'm making a meedio clone skin. Fla did all the hard stuff (rewriting the apps) and I am in the process of getting the meedio clone skin looking nice. I may be some time. The Xsuite skin files are very big.

As I'm using GBPBVR v 99.12 I have no idea what it looks like on more recent versions of GBPVR.

The 1280 x 720 skin that I have been working on looks really sharp and crisp whereas the original 480line skin did not.

Hope this helps.
