Hi, I'm running XP SP2 and attempting to get GBPVR running with a PVR150MCE. I also have a HVR4000 installed in the system but I am not trying to use that at this stage.

I have added my PVR150 using the config application, but I am unable to get GBPVR to start because the following message appears and the program closes.

"No available PVR 350 was detected in the system"

Brilliant deduction! I'm not trying to configure a PVR350, nor do I have one. Where is GBPVR getting the idea I want to configure a PVR350, and why does it care that one isn't available when I want to use my PVR150?

Start->Programs->GBPVR->Config

On the Playback tab, check that the Hardware decoder device is set to "none - use software decoder".

McBain is correct. Its getting the idea you have a PVR350 because you've told it to use the hardware decoder on a PVR350, but dont have one in your system. Put the setting back to 'none - use software decoding'.
