Error when trying to record live tv

I have a problem when recording from live tv. When I hit the record button on my remote, I get a menu where I can select 'Record until end of current program', 'Record for specified time', or 'Record until I exit live tv'.

The first two options appear to work fine, but if I want to use the third option, Record until I exit live tv, I get an error message. The message is 'Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object'. What does this mean, and how do I fix the problem?

Yes, I am using the default skin. I am attaching my zipped logs.

I don't understand your question... What is PVRX2.exe?

I have GB-PVR version 0.99.5, if that helps. Running under Windows XP.

Sorry, I didnt realise you were running a version that old. PVRX2.exe is the new user interface release about six months ago. Its probably worth upgrading to the current 1.1.5 release when you get a chance.

Oh. It's not that old to me, I only got it installed last march.

It took me some doing to get it working on my machine with my hardware, so I don't want to tempt fate by upgrading just now. I managed to record what I wanted by using the timed recording, so it's not a big deal right now. Thanks for your timely replies!

I was using this method to record home movies from VHS tape into my DVR so I could burn them on DVD.
