Is remote reboot of MVP possible?

I understand you can telnet into a MVP remotely, but can you reboot it that way too?

I find that occasionally my MVPs won't reconnect to the gbpvr server without powering them off and back on again. Since that requires fishing them out of the cabinet and unplugging them, and they're scattered around the house is 3 different rooms, it's not very convenient. Is there any way to force a reboot remotely?

mvpmc dongle and web interface to the MVP IP will give you the option to reboot remotely.

In additon to the web server there is the reboot command right on the mvpmc main main and there is a reboot command via telnet.

Is the telnet reboot option only available via mvpmc, or is it built into the Hauppauge dongle too?

I don't think you can telnet to the Hauppauge dongle. Did you find one where it is open?

No, I was clearly just confused. However, thanks for your suggestion. I hadn't tried mvpmc for a long time and it's come a long way. Being able to reboot the mvps from the server works well.
